1 large yellow onion, diced or minced (about 2 cups)
3 cloves of garlic, crushed and chopped
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons dried oregano, or to taste
2 teaspoons dried basil, or to taste

1 teaspoon of granulated garlic powder
1 teaspoon of granulated onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat a large skillet on medium. Add the olive oil and onions. Saute for 2-3 minutes then add the garlic. Next add the seasonings and continue cooking, stirring frequently for an additional 10 to 12 minutes. Taste for seasonings and remove from heat.
