A great way to reheat rice is to boil water in a tea kettle. Place your rice in a strainer and hold it over the sink while you pour the hot water over your rice. Let it sit over a bowl to drain.
I always make extra rice so I can make fried rice later. It's a great clean-out-the-frig recipe. I grab whatever odds and ends of veg to stirfry in a large work. Then dump in the cold leftover rice with a splash of hoisin, or just soy sauce and sesame oil with Chinese 5 spice powder. Just stirfry til rice is coated and hot.
BTW, I'm a new subscriber and very excited to see what fantastic recipes are here!
